Indien: Buddha in Namdröl-Ling

The first thing you notice are the colorful prayer flags in the forest. There are more and more, all along the road, deep into the trees. And then the golden wheel of a temple shimmers through the treetops and a view opens up of the golden entrance gate to the monastery. People of all faiths stream through to admire the colorful, golden splendor of the complex. The huge temple hall with its countless statues, the beautifully landscaped temple garden and the natural silence are overwhelming.
