Die weiße Küste von Denia bis Alicante ist eine Erfindung der Tourismusindustrie und wird in seiner Vielfalt den Orten und Landschaften in der verkürzten Zusammenfassung Costa Blanca nicht gerecht. Wer allerdings nur auf Sonne, Meer und Essen aus ist, kann sich in Benidorm sicher wohl fühlen. Dafür den Hochhausreihen an den beiden Stränden den Rücken kehren und das Gefühl von Weite und Meer stellt sich langsam ein. In Denia oder Alicante dagegen kann man sich gerne auch umdrehen und die Innenstädte mit ihren Gassen, historischen Gebäuden und Restaurants oder in der Umgebung von Denia die leeren Strände genießen. Später mit dem Auto in’s Hinterland, über Berge und Täler gleiten, durch Tropfsteinhöhlen und alte Burgen wandern, ist Entspannung pur.
